Job Description

TSS is partnering with a growing law firm to hire a full-time, onsite Personal Injury Case Manager for a permanent position in the financial district in NYC, NY.

This role reports to the Director of Operations and will play a vital role in supporting the legal team by serving as the primary liaison between clients, medical providers, and other third parties throughout the lifecycle of a case. This client-facing position involves managing all aspects of case coordination—from intake and documentation to appointment scheduling, deadline tracking, and communication updates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Translate and interpret for Spanish-speaking clients.
• Serve as the primary client liaison, maintaining consistent and professional communication throughout the duration of each matter.
• Responsible for new client intakes, opening files, and collecting necessary information and documentation.
• Coordinate appointments and maintain regular contact with third parties, including medical facilities, experts, and service providers.
• Track and manage case-related deadlines, documents, and communications across multiple matters and practice areas.
• Update the legal team on case developments, treatment progress, and outstanding items.
• Draft basic legal correspondence and assist with document preparation.
• Use legal practice management software (Centerbase) to maintain accurate and organized digital case files.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bilingual (Spanish)
• 2+ years of legal case management experience in a personal injury setting.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Strong understanding of legal workflows and ability to support attorneys across different practice areas.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coordinating care.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Centerbase or similar software preferred.
• Client-focused, dependable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The salary range is $65,000 - $75,000 DOE. Benefits include: 401(k), Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Bonus opportunities, and yearly performance-based bonus.
