Job Description

As a Corporate Recruiter with Murphy USA, you will provide the best candidates (character & competency) to hiring managers to fill positions that will allow the company to accomplish its vision and mission, and in alignment with its guiding principles. You will proactively partner with the Supervisor, Corporate Talent Acquisition and broader TA team to fill requisitions in a timely manner, by providing a diverse and qualified talent pool. You will also ensure the flow of a regular, effective communication pipeline with stakeholders of varying levels of seniority.

Note: This role is based on-site at our Home Office in El Dorado, Arkansas. You must be willing to relocate if you are not local to the area.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include...

  • Provide multiple, well-qualified candidates for each job posting.
  • Ensure that candidates possess high potential and have been sufficiently screened prior to interviews by management.
  • Assess candidates for their level of commitment and retention with the company, ensuring that candidates align with our four Principles: Integrity, Respect, Citizenship, and Spirit.
  • Maintain a positive experience for both candidates hired and not hired during recruitment process. Every one of them is a customer.
  • Close out requisitions from the process flow as assigned.
  • Utilize the best practice methods for recruiting/screening and selection.
  • Provide status updates for hiring managers on a regular cadence, and act as a thought partner if and when challenges arise.
  • Partner with vendors or agencies when needed.
  • Interact with all levels of the organization for collaboration.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Education and Experience

Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four-year college degree, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Prior experience in a Recruiting capacity is preferred.
