Job Description

Join a Nationally Ranked Patent Litigation Practice Powering the Most Disruptive Companies in Tech and Life Sciences

As a junior or mid-level associate, you’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with trial-tested litigators and brilliant technologists across offices in Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Seattle, New York, and Washington, D.C.—supporting high-impact disputes for clients ranging from stealth startups to global powerhouses.

Why This Role Catalyzes Your Growth

  • Front-Row Exposure to Groundbreaking Innovation:

Defend or challenge the IP of companies transforming AI, biotech, crypto, robotics, and life sciences, from early-stage ventures to public tech giants.

  • Elite Trial Experience, National Stage:

Shape strategies in high-stakes patent disputes across federal courts and the Patent Office. Represent both patent holders and accused infringers in cutting-edge litigation.

  • Platform Agnostic, Client Obsessed:

Work with a diverse mix of clients—from pre-seed stealth-mode startups to companies that are household names, on cases where the technology is the business.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner closely with colleagues across IP, regulatory, M&A, and tech transactions to deliver holistic legal strategies that reflect your clients’ commercial realities.

  • Inclusive, Intellectually Charged Culture:

Join a team of curious, thoughtful litigators with deep technical chops and a modern approach to mentorship, professional development, and work-life balance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 1–6 years of patent litigation experience at a law firm
  • Strong writing, communication, and client service skills
  • Background or interest in high tech or life sciences (degrees or industry experience a plus, but not required)
  • Enthusiastic about working with a variety of clients—from garage-stage founders to public companies
  • Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction required

Compensation

  • Market-leading compensation, competitive with top-tier Am Law firms
  • Bonuses tied to performance and hours
  • Full health benefits and professional development support
