Senior Manager, Procurement

Dallas - Fort Worth Area

Compensation: $120,000 - $130,000 + bonus

Company Profile: This manufacturer is looking to hire a Senior Manager Procurement. This senior procurement professional will elaborate strategy plans, budgets, long-term value initiatives reporting, analyze emerging market supplier potential, support new product introductions, drive procurement optimization and communicate with business and senior management. This role will help develop the growth path for the procurement team and the overall continuous growth of the organization.

The Senior Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Provide a strategic approach to the total cost of ownership of her/his categories and balancing requirements
• Identify synergies, standardization opportunities and will lead cross-functional projects
• Conduct contract and supplier management ensuring process and regulations' compliance
• Develop a supply base in new countries to deliver and achieve corporate strategic objectives and performance indicators
• Interface with cross-functional teams on new product development sourcing strategy and implementation

The Senior Manager Procurement Should Have the Following Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain or commodity management experience. MBA, CPM, CPSM or other procurement and/or supply chain certification preferred
• Analytical thinker who thrives in a fast paced environment
• Experience in negotiations and contracting, including should-cost models, multi-year contracts, complex terms and conditions, performance incentives, risk management, e-sourcing, Tri-lateral negotiations
• Attentive to detail, well organized and able to multi-task
