Are you an experienced Non-QM Underwriter looking for an exciting opportunity in the mortgage industry? BluePoint Mortgage , a leading wholesale lender , is seeking a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of Non-Qualified Mortgage (Non-QM) loan products to join our dynamic team in Newport Beach, CA .

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and underwrite Jumbo and Non-Agency mortgage loans for completeness and compliance.
• Perform manual underwriting to ensure loans meet credit and property guidelines.
• Evaluate and provide recommendations for underwriting waivers and eligibility exceptions.
• Maintain strong knowledge of mortgage compliance rules, agency underwriting guidelines, and industry standards .
• Collaborate with brokers and loan production teams to structure loans efficiently.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Non-QM and Jumbo underwriting .
• Recent experience underwriting bank statement loans, DSCR, and no-income investment properties .
• Strong manual underwriting knowledge and familiarity with automated underwriting platforms .
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining risk management parameters.
