Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Industry-Specific Product Strategy & Roadmap

- Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for industry-specific solutions in Fashion & Apparel, Health & Beauty, and Home & Garden.

- Prioritize a feature backlog for each vertical based on merchant needs, business impact, and market trends.

- Deliver clear quarterly product roadmaps and Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) that guide engineering and design teams.

Market & Merchant Insights

- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and merchant interviews to understand industry trends, merchant challenges, and opportunities.

- Use data-driven insights to inform feature development and enhance Shopline’s competitive advantage in each sector.

- Develop a deep empathy for merchants and their customers, ensuring features are designed with real-world use cases in mind.

- Stay ahead of evolving industry regulations, technological advancements, and consumer behavior shifts that impact e-commerce merchants.

Product Development & Execution

- Work closely with engineering and UX/UI teams to develop and launch features that align with industry-specific merchant needs.

- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and prototyping to release and iteration, ensuring high-quality feature rollouts.

- Oversee testing and QA to maintain product reliability, security, and user experience standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Go-To-Market Execution

- Partner with engineering, UX/UI, product marketing, and merchant success teams to ensure smooth execution of product launches.

- Work with external partners to integrate industry-relevant tools, payment solutions, logistics providers, and third-party applications.

- Collaborate with the product operations team to develop training materials, tutorials, and demos to educate internal teams and merchants on new feature releases.

- Collaborate with pre-sales and merchant success teams to drive feature adoption through onboarding programs, webinars, and beta programs.

Performance Tracking & Continuous Improvement

- Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as feature adoption, merchant retention, and Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) growth in target industries.

- Use A/B testing, analytics, and surveys to monitor feature performance and identify opportunities for optimization.

- Iterate and enhance features based on merchant feedback, performance data, and evolving industry trends.

Qualifications & Skills

We are looking for a strategic, data-driven, and execution-focused Product Manager with:

- 6~10+ years of product management experience in e-commerce or marketplace platforms.

- Prior experience building SaaS products or online retail solutions is highly desirable.

- Strong understanding of e-commerce trends and merchant pain points in Fashion & Apparel, Health & Beauty, or Home & Garden industries.

- Proven track record of developing and launching successful B2B or B2B2C products.

- Strong ability to define, measure, and analyze product KPIs and use data to inform decisions.

- Experience with A/B testing, user research, and product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics).

- Strong ability to work across teams including engineering, UX, product marketing, and pre-sales.

- Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders and align teams on product strategy.

- Ability to translate complex business needs into simple, scalable, and intuitive product features.

- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
